Snowflake Build 2024 – The Dev Conference for AI & Apps (“Event”) Referral Giveaway (“Referral Giveaway”) is sponsored by Snowflake Inc. (“Snowflake”). By participating in this Referral Giveaway or accepting an Award (as defined below), you agree to these Referral Giveaway terms and conditions (“Referral Giveaway Terms”). If you are participating in the Referral Giveaway on behalf of a company (such as your employer) or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that company or other legal entity to these Referral Giveaway Terms. In that case, “you” and “your” will refer to that company or other legal entity.

This is a limited-time offer while supplies last. The “Referral Giveaway Period” begins on October 2, 2024 at 10:00 AM PT and ends on November 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM PT.

Participant Qualifications. The Referral Giveaway is open and offered only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of entry and registered to attend the Event (each, a qualified “Participant”). The Referral Giveaway is not open to: (1) employees of Snowflake; (2) the immediate family members or members of the same household of any such employees; (3) anyone professionally involved in the development or administration of the Referral Giveaway; (4) public officials and employees of government and quasi-government organizations at the federal, state and local level (5) any employee whose employer’s guidelines or regulations do not allow participation in the Referral Giveaway or acceptance of the Award. By participating in this Referral Giveaway, you represent and warrant that you have obtained any appropriate or required approvals to participate in the Referral Giveaway and receive an Award (e.g., from an employer), and your acceptance of the Award is at your sole discretion.

Referral Giveaway Requirements. In order to be eligible for the Referral Giveaway, qualified Participants must:

Register to attend Event;
Share their unique referral link; and
Refer at least three (3) eligible Referees.

An eligible “Referee” must:

Be a colleague, friend, or family member of the qualified Participant; and
Using the referral link, register to attend Event during the Referral Giveaway Period.

Winner Determination. A random selection will be generated from the total eligible Participants to reach 33 total winners.

Limit one (1) Award per eligible Participant per email address. Participants are not eligible to receive more than one (1) Award from the Referral Giveaway. Multiple entries from the same person or email address will be disqualified. Use of robotic, automatic, programmed or similar methods to participate in the Referral Giveaway are prohibited. Entries that are incomplete, corrupted, or distorted or include inaccurate or incorrect personal information are void and will not be accepted.

Award. “Award” for this Referral Giveaway will be Beats Studio Earbuds, valued at approximately $150 USD. Awards (and/or any portion thereof) are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. All Awards are subject to availability. No cash or other substitution of Awards is permitted, except at the sole option of Snowflake for an award of equal or greater value. If the actual value of the Award is less than stated, the difference will not be awarded. Snowflake will not replace any lost or stolen Awards. Winners are solely responsible for any and all federal, state, provincial and local taxes, if any, that apply to Awards.

Notification of Winners. Upon satisfaction of the Referral Giveaway Requirements, and within 30 days of Event, an email will be generated by Marketo to 33 eligible Participants. The email will request a valid U.S. mailing address for delivery of the Award. Responses to that email must be received within fourteen (14) business days or the email link will expire. Failure to respond within the fourteen (14) business days will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an email will be generated to the next randomly selected eligible Participant. This process will continue until such time as all supplies are exhausted. Snowflake assumes no responsibility for undeliverable emails (e.g., resulting from any form of active or passive filtering by an email client or for insufficient space in an email account to receive an email).

Disclaimers and Limitations on Liability. All Participants are responsible for compliance with any applicable federal, state, or local laws, rules and regulations, contractual limitations and/or office policies, if any, regarding participation in trade promotions or acceptance of Awards. To the extent allowed by applicable law, Snowflake shall not be liable for any delay, loss, damage, distress or inconvenience for or arising from this Referral Giveaway, including any Awards. Personal data will be processed in accordance with Snowflake’s Privacy Notice which can be located at www.snowflake.com/privacy-policy/. Subject to applicable law, Snowflake reserves the right to withdraw, vary, suspend or terminate this Referral Giveaway (including amending these Referral Giveaway Terms) at any time, without notice.
