Lisa LIM AH KEN is the senior, regional specialist at the UN Migration Agency- the International Organization for Migration (IOM), on migration, environment and climate change (MECC). Over the last 5yrs, she has built the portfolio on MECC in the East, Horn and Southern Africa sub-regions and in particular, led the process that resulted in the first regional, member-state led policy framework on Migration, Environment and Climate Change- The Kampala Ministerial Declaration Migration, Environment and Climate Change in 2022 and its subsequent expansion to the African continent in 2023. Lisa holds a Masters Degree in Climate Change and Development and has over 20yrs working experience across both humanitarian and development sectors in different regions of Africa and East Asia.
