Snowflake
Sanjay Deshmukh is the Senior Regional Vice President for Snowflake for ASEAN and India and is based in Singapore. He is responsible for building and executing a successful strategy to drive adoption and expansion of Snowflake’s Data Cloud in ASEAN and India region.
During a career spanning over 25 Years, he has led organizations in emerging technologies like Analytics, Cloud and Mobility through start-up, change and accelerated growth phase. He is passionate about helping customers transform their business and unlock the true value of their data.
In his earlier assignment, Deshmukh was Vice President at VMware responsible for the business in South-East Asia Korea region. He has previously worked for SAP India as Vice President for Business User and Platform Group and was instrumental in pioneering Business Intelligence and Analytics in India sub-continent in his role as the Country Manager for Business Objects.
Chief Information & Data Officer
Sunny serves as the Chief Information & Data Officer and has been with the company since 2020. Sunny oversees global IT, data, and security functions, helping the company scale in both headcount and customer base, culminating in the company’s IPO. He also launched the « Snowflake on Snowflake » program, making Snowflake customer zero for all new products and features. This program focuses on enhancing the customer experience by refining the architecture, creating customer use cases and providing valuable feedback to engineering and product management teams.
Prior to joining Snowflake, Sunny held Corporate IT and Operations leadership roles at NVIDIA from 2008-2020 as they scaled from less than 2,000 employees to 15,000. Previously, Sunny served in leadership roles at VMware, JDSU, Deloitte Consulting and Andersen Consulting. He holds a BS and MBA from University of San Francisco, and completed an Executive Education in Leadership and Technology program from Stanford University.

Felipe Hoffa is Snowflake’s Data Cloud Advocate since 2020. Previously he was at Google, as a Developer Advocate on Data Analytics for BigQuery, after joining as a Software Engineer. He moved from Chile to San Francisco in 2011. His goal is to inspire developers and data scientists around the world to analyze and understand their data in ways they never could before.
