About Summit

What is Snowflake Summit?

This conference features four days of inspiring keynotes, educational breakout sessions and an expo hall where thousands of Snowflake’s partners, customers and industry peers will gather to network, collaborate and obtain essential knowledge about Snowflake and emerging trends in data, AI and application development.

Who should attend this event?

This event caters to every type of data user. Business and technical executives, IT and database administrators, architects, analysts, data engineers, data scientists, software developers, security practitioners, product leaders and DevOps engineers will all find valuable content and make connections.

When and where will this event take place?

Event dates: June 2–5, 2025

Venue: Moscone Center, 747 Howard St., San Francisco, CA 94103.

Will there be a virtual component of this conference?

This conference will be held in person at Moscone Center. The main keynotes will be live streamed for free to non registrants. Details on how to access the live stream will be shared three weeks prior to the event date.

How long will each session be?

There is a mix of session formats. Breakout sessions are 45 minutes. There will also be 20-minute theater sessions in the expo hall.

Can I reserve a seat in my favorite sessions?

Yes. Summit registrants will be able to build their agenda and reserve seats once the conference agenda goes live in April 2025.

Will there be a mobile app?

Yes, a mobile event app will be available for download approximately two weeks before the event. Registered attendees will receive instructions by email when it becomes available.

Can I attend the Partner Summit?

Snowflake Partners in good standing are invited to attend the Partner Network Summit taking place onsite during the event. If you’re interested in attending this event, you can indicate that during the registration process.

Registration

How much does Snowflake Summit cost?

Super Early Bird: Nov. 12–Dec. 31, $1,895

Early Bird: Jan. 1–March 31, $2,095

Regular: April 1–May 31, $2,295

At the Door: June 2–5, $2,495

What is the payment policy?

All major credit cards are accepted for registration payments.

If paying by invoice, you will not be able to register for Snowflake Summit 2025 until full payment has been received. Registration codes will be sent upon receipt of payment.

Paying by invoice is only available on group ticket orders of 5 or more.

 

Are special discounts offered for groups?

Group pricing is offered for ticket bundles of 10+, 20+ and 30+. Group pass packages can be purchased via the registration portal. 

Group Ticket Package Prices:

  • 10+ full conference passes: $1,695 each
  • 20+ full conference passes: $1,595 each
  • 30+ full conference passes: $1,495 each

Are special discounts offered to public sector employees?

Public sector employees will have the opportunity to purchase Summit tickets at the public sector rate of $1,895, regardless of whether super early bird pricing has ended or not. If your work email ends with .gov, .mil, .edu or .us, you will automatically see the price of $1,895 applied to your registration. 

If you work in the public sector and your email address does not end in the above, you can reach out to our team at [email protected] and they can help extend the rate to you. 

Discount codes cannot be applied when purchasing a Summit ticket at this discounted government employee rate.

Can I apply multiple discount codes during registration?

No, only one discount code can be applied per registered guest.

Cancellations & Substitutions

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be completed within your attendee portal by Thursday, May 1, 2025, 11:59 p.m. PT to receive a full refund. 

Log back into your Summit attendee portal here to cancel or make changes to your order. You can contact [email protected] if you are experiencing any issues.

Additional cancellation considerations: 

  • Nonattendance does not constitute cancellation.

  • Summit tickets purchased via a Snowflake order form are nonrefundable.

  • No refund requests received on or after May 2, 2025, will be processed. 

Substitution policy:

You can transfer your registration to a colleague at your company until May 29, 2025. To begin a transfer, email [email protected] with the following information for the new registrant:

  • New registrant’s first and last name

  • Email address

Note, only registration packages are transferred between attendees, not hotel reservations. The new registrant will need to log into the event portal here and book their own reservation at one of our event hotels. A registration confirmation email will be sent to the new registrant once the substitution is confirmed.

Can I transfer my conference ticket to someone else? What is the substitution policy?

You can transfer your registration to a colleague at your company up until May 29, 2025. To begin a transfer, email [email protected] with the following information for the new registrant:

  • New registrant’s first and last name

  • Email address

Note, only registration packages are transferred between attendees, not hotel reservations. The new registrant will need to log into the event portal here and book their own reservation at one of our event hotels. A registration confirmation email will be sent to the new registrant once the substitution is confirmed.

How do I cancel my registration?

To cancel your Summit registration, log into your attendee portal and navigate to your order details section. You can cancel and receive a full refund up until Thursday, May 1, 2025, 11:59 p.m. PT.

Training & Certification

Are there full-day training courses available at this event?

Yes! We are offering two full-day training courses to accommodate both new and experienced Snowflake users. Both classes will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025. Participants can only attend one course, as they run concurrently. 

There is an additional cost of $1,000 to participate. 

Course descriptions:

Beginner Training: Snowflake Foundations

This course covers the foundational concepts, design considerations and Snowflake best practices intended for stakeholders who will be working on the Snowflake Data Cloud. This course is a prerequisite for the role-based courses Administering Snowflake, Snowflake Data Engineering or Snowflake Data Science. 

Advanced Training: Fresh Snow

Take advantage of a full day to immerse yourself in features introduced to the Snowflake Platform over the past year. In this fast-paced workshop, you will expand your toolbox and broaden your working knowledge of Snowflake and how it fits in your use cases and solutions.

Can I get SnowPro Certified while attending?

Yes! Take advantage of discounted exam rates by earning your SnowPro Certification at Summit. Exams can be scheduled between Monday, June 2, through Thursday, June 5. 

Prices listed below are valid only for certification exams taken at Snowflake Summit and are nonredeemable after the event ends.

SnowPro Core or Advanced Certification Exam: $150

SnowPro Advanced Recertification Exam: $150

How do I register for the pre-event training?

Upon registering for a Summit full conference pass there will be an option to add on a full-day training package. 

If you have already purchased your conference ticket and would like to add on a training package, simply log back into your attendee portal here and at the top of page click on the “manage add-ons” button. From there select the training course you would like to take, and complete the purchase order.

How do I register for the certification exam?

Upon registering for a Summit full conference pass there will be an option to add on a SnowPro exam package. 

If you have already purchased your conference ticket and would like to add on a certification exam, simply log back into your attendee portal here and at the top of the page click on the “manage add-ons” button. From there select the certification exam you would like to take, and complete the purchase order.

What happens after I purchase a pre-event training?

As we get closer to the event, you will receive additional details from the Snowflake education team. If you don’t receive an email by May 20, 2025, or if you have any questions regarding the status of your training package, please reach out to [email protected].

What happens after I purchase a certification exam?

Detailed instructions and a voucher code will be sent by March 2025 to all registrants who purchased a certification exam. To begin preparing for your exam, navigate to the SnowPro Certification website to view Snowflake’s exam catalog and exam guides.

How should I prepare for my SnowPro Certification before attending?

Visit the SnowPro Certification website to view the exam catalog and exam guides for each SnowPro Certification. Each exam guide lists the objectives covered on the certification exam, as well as the link to the exam study guide, which contains sample questions.

Is there a time limit on the exams?

Candidates have a time limit of 115 minutes on the following exams:

  • SnowPro Core

  • SnowPro Advanced: Architect

  • SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer

  • SnowPro Advanced: Data Scientist

  • SnowPro Advanced: Administrator

  • SnowPro Advanced: Data Analyst

Candidates have a time limit of 90 minutes on the following exams:

  • SnowPro Core Recertification

  • SnowPro Advanced: Architect Recertification

  • SnowPro Advanced: Data Engineer Recertification

  • SnowPro Advanced: Data Scientist Recertification

Do I have to attend the event in person to take the exam?

Yes, you can only redeem your Snowflake Summit certification voucher by taking the exam onsite at the event. 

The voucher will not be active outside of the event. Certification exams will take place throughout each day (June 2–5, 2025). Once you receive your voucher, you will be able to schedule your exam through our exam partner, PearsonVue.

Can I reschedule my exam?

Yes, you can reschedule your onsite exam at any time leading up to the exam, as long as there is availability. Exams must be taken onsite and can not be rescheduled for dates and times outside conference hours.

Travel

Can I get a visa letter?

Yes, you can request a visa letter when registering for the event. There will be a question on the registration form that, when checked yes, will prompt you to submit the following information:

  • Legal name as it appears on your travel documents

  • Your country of citizenship

  • Name of your company

  • Address of your company

  • The number of days will you be in the United States

Additional details: 

  • We will not provide a visa letter to non registered guests. 

  • After receiving a visa letter of invitation from Snowflake, if you are denied a visa to travel to our event, we will refund your existing conference pass.

How do I book my hotel?

Once you have registered for Summit, you can book your hotel by following one of these options:

  • Your confirmation email will contain a link to access the Summit hotel room block website. 

  • If you are already registered for Summit, log back into your attendee portal for access to the room block website.

Attendees can book hotel stays in our Summit room block up until May 13, 2025, at 11:59pm PT.
