Bidgely was founded with the mission of helping the energy space with data and AI, so our corporate mission today is to accelerate the clean energy transition, by helping customers and utilities make data driven decisions. Almost every industry at a certain point in time has gone through a major revolution which was based on data. At this point, energy industry is deep into the data revolution and the use of data and artificial intelligence, basically serving over forty large investor owned utilities and energy retailers around the world.

Our customer base is fundamental to the existence of, economies and the growth. Nobody in vertical industries are able to handle all the complexity of data and AI on their own. So they need partners and vendors who are going to help them. And so Bidgely has taken a very important role in in playing that part in helping them extract value out of their data.

My cofounder and CTO and myself, we had a vision of taking all this intelligence that we extract and instead of long batch processes in the back, we wanted to make it available to our utility partners almost for real time querying. Now the kind of insights that we create is is actually almost magical. What we do is we have taken the data from meters and we have extracted through our algorithms, extracted the information on where is the energy going in our homes, in businesses.

So, for example, how much energy was consumed by air conditioner, by water heater, by refrigerator, by my EV? How much was generated by solar? That is magical because now the first thing that happens is, as a consumer, I start receiving an itemized energy bill. So I know where my energy and therefore, my money is going.

After a few years of trying different solutions and struggling when we came to the class of solution that Snowflake is offering, it did hit our requirements and, so with further work together with the team of Snowflake, we were able to realize building of our product on top of Snowflake's technology. The decisions that used to take months and possibly even a year and massive number of spreadsheets and human hours is now it can be done in in minutes. So that's an example of a huge business impact. I think our team had a lot of fun and, it was a pleasure working with the technology.

The first part was the availability of the technology to accomplish the real timeliness, the fast turnaround, and usage based pricing. So we are able to make it affordable for our customers was the first important part. There are many other things, security, the ease of data integration, ability to bring in other data sources is very important.

And lastly, I would say sharing of the data is very, very important. The experience of working with Snowflake has been fantastic.

We have found them to be great partners so far, and we are now going on the journey of, jointly building the energy and utilities business case for all the buyers. So we hope that the same experience we have had on the, technology side is going to extend into the business development and partnership side with Snowflake.
