End Data Disparity
For decades, data gaps have exacerbated global inequalities, hindering progress in critical areas like social justice, climate resilience and public health. In September 2015, world leaders adopted the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, setting a transformative agenda.
What is "End Data Disparity"?
Data allows us to better understand and improve our world. It should represent everyone — but many groups are being partially or entirely left out. And not everyone has equal access to inform their data. We call this “data disparity."
Data disparity slows progress
We're answering this call by leading the 'End Data Disparity' movement, dedicated to advancing Goal 17. We believe Goal 17 serves as the linchpin supporting the other 16 goals, with data as our tool for transformation.
This movement unites industries and sectors to build an inclusive data ecosystem, ensuring decision-makers have accurate data to make informed choices that translate ambition into tangible progress for a sustainable future.
