Ioannis Papapanagiotou
Ioannis has been leading organizations on Data platforms, AI Infrastructure, Distributed systems, and Cloud Computing. He has built teams and engineering systems at a large scale (100s of thousands of nodes, 10B operations per day, Exabytes of data) for IBM, Netflix, Snowflake, startups and Venture Capital firms. He has served in the faculty ranks of Purdue University (tenure-track) and NC State University where he received awards from Google, Nvidia, NetApp, IBM and others. Ioannis serves in advisory board of startups and academic institutions like the Electrical & Computer Engineering department of NC State University. Ioannis holds a dual Ph.D. degree in Computer Engineering and Operations Research. Ioannis has a passion in engineering systems and teaching.
